Child of Compromise: Summary
Macy McKenna, headstrong eldest daughter of Paddy McKenna, has given her life to the care of her family since the death of her mother almost ten years ago. Turning her back on her fiance, she chose to take care of her family, rather than marry.
Now, Ian O'Donnal has come back, but Macy discovers his true character and realizes that she never loved him. After he turns his attentions to Macy's younger sister, Melody, the patriarch of the McKenna clan, Paddy McKenna, decides to intervene.
Sean Collins, returning to the little Irish village that was his home as a child, find that the feelings that he once had for the beautiful Macy McKenna have only grown stronger. A chance meeting with her father gives him the opportunity that he has always wanted. Can he win over the woman of his dreams when she has always seemed to share the same opinions of him as the townspeople? Sean knows that God has changed his heart and life, and he hopes that He can change hers as well.
